Update from the Caribbean...after three weeks we are somewhat settled in our new home. Were learning to deal with the bugs (they are everywhere), the food (im down 14 lbs so far), and the people (they drive like its a race and work like its a day off). Also the fear of arrest for cursing has really altered my speech. Arya said her first sentence this week (Hi Da da) and can now stand on her own and climb stairs. We have stopped baby food and allowed her to eat whatever we eat. Tonight she had catfish, which she promptly spit out and gave to the dogs, but she enjoyed the pasta and callaloo (like a spinach). This week we are house sitting a third dog for some awesome new friends, and its been going well so far, but Angus keeps getting upset that his spot on the couch is taken. Tomorrow we are going to the university club, with is like a private country club for students and faculty, so hopefully we dont get kicked out. I miss everyone at home: family,friends, coworkers, even some of the students. I hope everyone is doing well!
