Update on Angie from her husband, my brother, Jeff. Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth! - Psalm 47:1-2 Awesome news, Prayer Warriors!! The scans were clear. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your prayers! We were a little confused this morning because they actually did CT scans of head, spine, pelvis; instead of the PET Scan. Regardless, they were clear and we are very happy and feel so blessed right now. Angie will continue with the hormone shots every 4 weeks; the easy chemo every 3 weeks and the next scan will be the end of June. But for now, were gonna party!! This morning we were all getting ready and I heard Nathan going upstairs to brush his teeth. He was singing Awesome is the Lord Most High - a catchy tune I might add. Because Angie and I did not go to work, we took Nathan to school and then Olivia before we headed downtown. We were all singing Awesome is the Lord Most High on the way to school so that has kind of been our theme for today. We knew God was awesome even before the scans. It is amazing to think what Angie has gone through. We are approaching 4 years now since her diagnosis and they didnt think she would make one year. We are so very blessed. Angies Guardian Angel here on earth - Edra Fouts - came in to see her this afternoon while Angie was having her treatment. After finding out the results of the scans, Edra did her happy dance and then talked about the fact it is a miracle that Angie is here. Thank you so much for your BOLD and faithful prayers. We are so thankful for God and His healing power. We give all glory and honor to Him! Amen and Amen!! It should be an incredible night at Winter Jam tonight with the Newsboys, Tenth Avenue North, Lecrae, New Song, Thousand Foot Crutch, Plumb, etc., etc., etc.. But for now, we again say thank you and leave you with Awesome is the Lord Most High. We hope all of the awesome Prayer Warriors out there will hear it and it will ring true for the rest of today and forever!
