Update on Bella - she is home. Diagnosis: bladder stones, kidney damage, urinary tract infection (on meds for that) - she is acting alert and happy. She did have beginning bloat and will have to be on a special diet for awhile. My Vet practices Eastern Meds and he has some powder to try to dissolve the stones. At almost 16 I do not want her to go thru surgery for that. She will also have to stay on gas X for awhile to prevent further bloat. Plus she gets boiled chicken and rice for her diet. So we are happy. We will enjoy her as long as she is comfortable.
