Update on Cola: Thank heavens Cola gets her last loading dose of meds tomorrow. So glad the 5 days have nearly past. I have to say that Cola has the constitution of an ox! The meds she is on have very heavy side affects when on the loading dose which is hard to watch. She had a some bad moments where we could see she was battling with the side effects, but tonight she is up again and playing, Bertie and I cannot believe what we see. She is the first out of the door to the gate when something is moving there. I have spoken to other owners whose dogs are also on a loading dose of the same meds and their side effects are much worse than Colas. We are so thankful. So we are looking forward to Saturday when she goes onto her maintenance meds and slowly we will reduce the Phenobarb as prescribed by our vet.
