Update on Dad 11-12-13: Didn’t end up going last night for CT scan of chest until 9:30pm, then they ended up blowing his IV and had to do another one. He was a trooper though. Normal, interrupted night of resting for the hospital norm. Today, breathing treatment, more blood work, chest x-ray, more anti-biotic drip as they feel there is still an infection they haven’t found yet. Was able to get up and get cleaned up. Had some type of meat and some type of potato for lunch, jury is still out on that. They did throw in some sliced Kiwi for color at least which matched his lemonade. Staying at least another day, and maintaining good spirits. Up for calls and visits, as long as you don’t mind the every 5 minute interruptions from the staff. Will post more later after I get to the hospital and insist kindly that they show me his chart ;). Thank you Brandon Picasso Lines for staying with your Grammy last night.
