Update on Elvie. I spoke with her via Skype just now. She is back from Tacloban. Elvie was able to fly via military plane with the help of Mayor Herbert of QC. She was lucky to be one of first to witness the horrible destruction . She lost several relatives and 2 of her nieces are still missing. The others she saw them in body bags. While talking with Elvis she was crying and I could see the sadness in her eyes. She was given 2 days to find all her surviving relatives and they were flown back to Manila. She said Tacloban is gone. People are hungry and angry. Her exact words were : mam, gutom na sila , nagpapatayan na. Noong naglalakad ako mgapatay na tatapakan ko. Maraming lugar Hindi pa.mapuntahan. naguunahan sumakay sa military plane kasi wala talaga makain. Elvie was lucky. She asked me to tell everyone to pray for everyone in Tacloban and other places around the city.
