Update on Keaton McCarley: He was moved to LTAC yesterday. He has been doing great! He is currently on the CPAP setting on the vent, and doing wonderfully!... if he keeps up the good work, they will try out the trach collar (just oxygen) tomorrow. He is making huge steps in the right direction. Today, physical therapy came by to see if he could sit on the side of the bed, and hold his balance. He did EXTREMELY well for his first time sitting up! They said he did great! So, they will come back daily and help Keaton regain strength..... It wore Keaton out, he is currently taking a nap.
