Update on Leland...... Our sweet boy has had a rough couple of days. Hes still too weak to stand on his own and walk. Hes holding himself up when he sits down, but not for very long. He has absolutely no muscle mass, so Im doing physical therapy exercises with him several times a day to try and build up his muscles again. His appetite is so so. Hes been snubbing the food he liked the first few days so this morning I took the whole chicken thigh out of a can of Merrick Southern Comfort and he gobbled it right up!! He also loves Blue Chicken Jerky. Was thrilled to find this out today because he really ate a lot which is great. His skin is still a total mess, but its getting there. He has lots of sores all over. Leland has a fighters heart.... Hes not giving up on himself and neither are we. However long this road is, he will be ok in the end!
