Update on Melissa: My sister told me today that Melissas pain was finally at a 5 instead of a 9 or 10!!! Progress!!! She was able to walk down the hall, shower, wash her hair, they braided her hair so it wouldnt get too tangled while staying in the hospital, and finally enjoying her food. My Dad was dismissed from the hospital on Saturday and today his RN was at his door by 10:00! I was so relieved and she assured me that she would take great care of him. His apartment is set up for handicap, so that takes a lot of stress off of me. I plan on going to see him on Wednesday.......he has an appointment to see his doctor. My two aunts are still at Good Sam and hanging in there with their health issues. Mom, too, is doing alright. I think some depression is happening, so I plan on bringing her here to my house to visit for a few days soon. I cant imagine not being able to see. I want to thank all of you who said a prayer for anybody in my family as well as you did for me. Your messages of kindness truly melted my heart. I know I am a sentimental old fool, but I really appreciate and love all of you. You guys fill my heart with joy every day and believe me, I need it. Have a wonderful work week!!!
