Update on Mom: #1 She has neutropenia (abnormally low level of white blood cells called neutrophils) #2 Thrombocytopenia (extremely low platelet count) #3 Colon obstruction #4 Extreme anemia and #5 bad urinary tract infection. Basically the chemo and radiation has caused way more destruction on her body than we anticipated. She cant fight any infections and shes very ill at the moment. She is currently undergoing a blood transfusion in hopes to improve her blood counts so her body is able to fight. I rather not go into any more details or anwser questions at the moment until we know more as treatment is given and we have more information.
