Update on Mom: Tonight, she was sitting up in the bed, talking and laughing. Raising Cain because they wont let her have a Diet Coke without the thickener and her new roommate watches Fox News for hours. Mom cares very little about politics. Shes still not eating much, but she is drinking liquids and they have given her IVs to keep her hydrated. She had several visitors today. This is the first time in a week that she really was interacting with people. Maybe the anti-depressants are working now and she will continue to improve. Her granddaughter Ashley was giving her a hard time because she doesnt want to do her exercise. Ironic considering she was a phys. ed. teacher for the majority of her career.
