Update on Prisha... 1/12/2015 Prayers are needed now more than ever for the Rose family. Priscias (Prisha) mental activity has declined and medical assessments are grim. The family is faced with making some difficult decisions, something no parent wants to do. It is heartbreaking; but, we find glory in the fact that Priscia and her family are children of God and have placed their full faith and trust in Him. Her courageous and faithful parents know that He knows what is best for Priscia, no matter the future. Priscia continues to touch peoples lives, and we love her. Update... 1/11/15 Priscia is in her end of care room at the hospital and is surrounded by family and unending numbers of visitors who love her. She looks beautiful and peaceful. Priscia is breathing on her own and is receiving some support oxygen through her tracheotomy tube. She has some difficulty swallowing and receives periodic help from her nurses through suctioning. Her color is good and she neither appears aggitated, nor to be in any pain. Priscia looks like the sleeping beauty who is waiting for her prince charming to awaken her. We praise God for her nursing staff. They are wonderful and treat Priscia as if she were their child. The love and compassion they have for Priscia is beautiful to witness. Internally, doctors say that Priscias brain stem was too badly damaged from the accident, not allowing her body to communicate properly with her brain. She is unresponsive and doctors give her no hope of recovery. Through insurmountable love, courage, and faith, the family removed all support and have turned this over to God. Doctors say that she could remain in this state for as much as 10 days. While the doctors have exhausted all that they can do, we know that God is the ultimate healer and that nothing is too difficult for him to fix. Prayer warriors, please continue to pray for this family and for Gods healing grace. Please also pray for strength during this time of difficulty for the family.
