Update on Tim: (since it has been awhile) First off other than much anxiety, physically he is doing ok. He is trying to work and make ends meet in preparation for what is to come. We have been trying to get BJC, the neurosurgeon, the radiologist and the makers of his pacemaker- Biotronik people to meet and come up with a solution to whether or not they can use the appropriate MRI imaging they need to use during the removal of this tumor. Because the pacemaker is not completely labeled MRI compatible- there is much debate going on as to how to handle this safely. We have also been doing some research on Gamma Knife surgery which is much less invasive but rather zapping the tumor with radiation and killing its cells that way rather than having actual brain surgery. We are trying to approach this as carefully as possible due to the risks involved. I havent called because I dont have a lot of new information to tell.
