Update on dad: I will be traveling to Manistee to pick up mom and dad tomorrow (Monday) morning to take them to Metro Health in Grand Rapids for another attempt at opening the arteries in dads right foot. The wound on the bottom of his foot is still quite critical, so we are counting on Dr. Mustapha to open things up so more blood can get to the foot and nature will heal the wound. If this doesnt work dad may still lose his foot, so this is all weighing very heavily on the entire family. Prayers for safe travel and the healing hands of Dr. Mustapha and his team will be gratefully received. Dad (and mom) should be able to return home on Tuesday. I start teaching at Hope College on Wednesday morning. Smooth sailing will be a bonus!
