Update on grandson: My daughter, Lori Owens, posted this yesterday, About 2 months ago my youngest son, Christopher, was diagnosed with cancer. This is a journey that no one expects or can plan for. Last month he had surgery to remove the large tumor. Tonight he is having surgery to put in the port and he will begin chemo next week. I am still in a state of shock and disbelief that this could be happening to a young man, he is only 27. But, I am also very proud and amazed at how well he is dealing with this new challenge in his life. I would not want to travel this road alone and I am so thankful you are all here for us with your prayers, love and support and all of the cards, packages and visits that have brought a smile to my little boys face. (Yes, I know hes not little but he will always be my little boy.) Thank you and we love you all!
