Update on mother. She is declining both mentally and physically to the point where I am no longer able to care for her. Bubba and I are looking at options for her placement somewhere where they can address her physical, mental, and emotional needs. She has become extremely agitated and has reverted back to her previous mental instability to the point where I cannot manage her. I am continually worried that, through her delusions, she will somehow retaliate and try to hurt me or my son. We contacted several agencies for help but keep getting more numbers to call. We were told we have few options so we are researching those now and will be contacting the appropriate agencies first thing Morning morning. I am utterly heartbroken that she is unable to allow us to help because of her paranoid delusions. Not only is she dying from lung cancer, but her mental illness is preventing her from spending what little time she has left with the only family she has. I continue to ask for prayers for her as I do not even know if she has ever been saved. She will not discuss anything with me as she has convinced herself that I am her enemy. This is the worst, most heartbreaking thing I have ever witnessed and I am very torn between anger and sadness. I am struggling for peace about this but I continue to praise God in this storm.
