Update on my Camry saga. My friend and I drove around the Peninsula this afternoon and found that all the spares places were closed, even today (Tweede Nuwe Jaar). But we found a place in Maitland that was open and had what we thought we needed.. After spending a total of R400, which included, first R40, then R30 for parking, R50 petrol for my first friend. R100 diesel for my second friend. R26 for a take away supper for my second friend, parts and labour. My car not only works again, but it has double the torque that it has had for the last few years. Bits of black grit came out of the fuel filter. Praise my awesome God who listened to an earnest prayer from a wretch like me.
