Update on my Diva Not good news there is a problem with her heart is large and her liver is involved. Still have to get a urine sample to check kidneys. I was planning to take her back in to have belly tapped as diuretics were not working, but it turns out the directions were wrong on the label. She was supposed to be getting 3 pills twice a day, but the label said 1/2 pill twice a day. The vet says prognosis is not good, but if I can pull her out of this I will start looking at some alternative methods to support her organs. Anyone having some areas to research to support her organs please feel free to direct my research. I will start with milk thistle for her liver. While we wait for the diuretic to kick in. I am going to take a rest. My Bailey would not let me sleep when I went to bed at 4:30 am. He kept hard nosing me to keep me petting him ALL night. Then his sister Bootsie was under the bed crying at 7 am. I had to get up, and chase her out to get a hold of her. I placed her in my largest carrier with food, water and a LB I will monitor her for the next 24-48 hours. I treated her for fleas too. Seriously exhausted going to medicate kitties got to be up in hour and half to see if diuretic has kicked in. Please keep my sweet girl in your prayers.
