Update on my brother...Hes in a better mood today. Still a bit impatient but agreeable. :-) yesterdays surgery was a busy. They had to take out his pacemaker/defibrillator as the pocket where it was showed infection. He nite has an open would and pocket where there is now planned gauze and foam and hes hooked up to a wound pump which is supposed to speed the healing. We are waiting now on authorization from his insurance for home health and wound pump. Were also waiting on bacterial cultures to seer what antibiotics he needs to go home on pills or IV. This is the longest part of it and hes been here for a full week now and really wants to come home. But I see God working in this. His discharge planner said she is working with two ladies today who are normally hard to get a hold of during the week to get his authorizations fine so hopefully those will be done today then its just waiting: the cultures. Thank you all for praying. Hes in much better spirits today and has more acceptance today. The Lord is good!
