Update on my youngest son Reids injury from yesterday: While out on a family outing yesterday we were walking around the the Gold museum in Villa Rica yesterday. Reid fell while stepping down from a rock about 10 inches and twisted his leg in a funny way, and broke his right femur. We took him to the nearest hospital (tanner villa rica) but after x-rays and pain meds we were transferred by ambulance to Childrens Health Care of Atlanta. After several hours he was taken to the operation room and placed in a cast that covers his whole Right leg, all the way up to his nipple line and part of his left leg for stability. He will be in it the cast for 6 weeks. He will be immobile (witch will be very hard for him) He is doing well now, but keep him in your prayers for a quick recovery.
