Upgrade Projects Coordinator Rumaila Single point of contact for the operations Degassing Stations Electrical and Instrumentation upgrades projects coordination. Liaising directly with the contractors, H.S.E department, operations engineering/planning and area maintenance sections on all DS stations E and I upgrades issues • Coordinate all work effort in delivering the business objectives for the Operations maintenance section. This includes liaising regularly with the appropriate Operations sections on technical issues, identifying and organizing the required resources to execute the scope of work and reporting to the Deputy E and I Manager on progress. • Input to monthly progress reports detailing technical, planning and budgetary information as applicable. • Coordinate related shutdowns (TAR) activities including; preparation of detailed shutdown plans, manning profiles and material listings, engaging the services of vendors and issue of progress reports. • Prepare mid-month work valuation reports. • Monitor procurement progress for the upgrades projects, ensuring material, services and repair requirements are identified and expedited utilizing company MAXIMO systems. This includes obtaining all quotations, raising the necessary material requisitions, ensuring materials are expedited within the agreed timescale, ensuring materials are receipted and inspected, preparation of manifests and liaising with the procurement logistics. • Input into quarterly contract meetings and prepare minutes of meetings. • Ensure warehoused spares are stored, preserved and managed • Input into technical reports as required. • Input into work packs as required. • Prepare and input into engineering change proposals ( MOC s )as required. • Interrogation of the Operations maintenance management system and preparation of maintenance, corrective and backlog reports. • Liaise with OEM and vendor personnel to ensure good working relationships are established. • Ensure that all employees engaged in activities for the upgrades contracts are aware of the health, safety and environmental requirements. • Ensure that ROO processes and procedures are maintained and updated as necessary for the contracts. Skills Graduate Engineer with a minimum experience of 6-7 years. Having experience in O & M projects. • Have strong working knowledge of MS Office products i.e. PowerPoint, Access & Excel. • Be proficient in English and Arabic languages Company Profile Following a tender process by the Iraq Ministry of Oil, BP, in partnership with the China National Petroleum Corporation was awarded the right to work on Rumaila, Iraq’s largest producing field. Rumaila currently produces around 1.4 million barrels of oil per day with an Iraqi work force of several thousand. Our objective is to increase production by nearly three times, considerably beyond the field’s historical peak rate of 1.75 million barrels per day. The contract is implemented in a partnership between BP, CNPC and SOMO, the State Oil Marketing Organisation. Work will be executed through the South Oil Company (SOC), who operate the field. The investment required, technology application, and increased production are world scale and with wide ranging development and training opportunities. This project is material and long lasting with significant benefits to the Republic of Iraq at the local, regional and country level.
