Upper Manistee Fishing Report: Well Ive been on the river the last 3 days and we are finally starting to see Hendricksons,(3:00PM), even in the pouring rain that weve had. Ive seen a few fish rising but not many...I would expect that to change any day now as the fish start looking up. Were probably due for a spinner fall also since its been 3 days of decent hatch activity. Spinner fall should be around 6:00 ish if it stays warm enough...if not get out there the next morning. You should see the spinner fall above the gravel riffle runs...below Webers would be a good bet. Streamer fishing has been the best bet and yellow has been a good color. Try a yellow Zuddler or Zoo Cougar. Wooly Buggers also. We have been boating at least a couple of fish on most trips and the size has been good. Greg Miller
