Upside Down - A movie that is filled with imagination … as well as absurdity and boredom The first time I saw the trailer, I was intrigued and was asking: Why? How? and What? (referring to the movie) And now that I have seen it finally, my questions seemed to hang in the air without any gravity (neither of the two …) to pull it on ground. Now, all that is left for me is to further expand my whirling queries: Why did I get myself to watch this pretentious “Master-piece-o’-crap”? How did I manage to hang on for 1h 40min of torture (proclaim me a Martyr will ya!) and finally … What man would dare to exploit such horrid film making? Of course, you would be fed by its brilliant visuals, striking settings, and I have to admit, its concept. But boy was I spoonful too packed with them forever circulating in the movie! The plot itself could not carry these luminous accessories … thus leaving us to just sit and marvel at its “wonderful” creation (?). If my hypothesis is right, then the film’s plot would be downright flawless! But that’s not it is it? Its plot is not as amazing as its concept, rather, it is quite ridiculous up to the point of slapping you in the back of the neck. The movie used a “Deus Ex Machina” to conclude the whole ridiculous plot. Sadly, in this review, there will be no Deus Ex Machina …. 1.5/4 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upside_Down_(film) youtube/watch?v=XtixqUXid9A
