Upstream Foundation director Paul Gruber visited FareShare recently to hand over the funds raised by the amazing participants of the 2013 Upstream 50km Challenge to Claire Leach and Marcus Godinho. It was such a large amount ($156,927.30 in total) we thought it needed a monster sized cheque! The funds will be put to good use by FareShare who will double the number of meals they cook for Victorians who have fallen on hard times this year. The charity is now able to cook 20,000 meals a week in its new kitchen, with its volunteers working hard to cook one million meals a year. Well done again to all of you that made this possible.
