Urgent Appeal to Bring LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs to Earthquake Victims in Napa Valley Area LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs have been invited to come to St. Johns Lutheran Church in Napa, California and the surrounding area as soon as possible due to the earthquake that hit on Sunday morning. A team of four LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs and handlers will arrive in Napa later this afternoon. Yesterday LCC received a phone call from Pastor Mark Heine and Rev. Michael Schmid - Pastors at St. Johns Lutheran Church and School in Napa, California - asking for LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs to come to be with families in their church and community who are beginning to feel the emotional effects of the recent earthquake that hit the area earlier this week. The District President, Rev. Bob Newton, also asked that we come to help them with the recovery. They asked that we come as soon as possible. LCC never charges those we serve and rely on the support of others to help cover transportation costs. We thank you for your support.
