Usage of ONE: A. The pronoun of ONE is ONE’S. The use of ONE as a pronoun is different in both American English and British English. In American English, ONE’S is replaced by HIS or HER depending on a sentence structure. However, in British English, it is wrong to use HIS or HER. We should use ONE’S.
