TransferWise is recommended by: - The BBC - The Guardian - The Economist - The Financial Times - The New York Times TransferWise’s fee of 0.5% (or a flat rate of £1 for any transfer under £200) is up to 10 times cheaper than banks. Unlike banks, Transferwise uses the mid-market exchange rate (the one you see on Google). For subsequent payments of, there would be a 0.5% fee (would cost just £5 to transfer £1000).
