Usually I attack people who try to push products in threads and Groups. Yesterday Pierre Rehov posted a hyper-link to his film Silent Exodus- The Jewish Nakbah in a thread on my page. I am so glad he did. I have long praised Rehovs documentaries and Silent Exodus is valuable if for no other reason in that it once again reminds the world that the 480,000 Palestinians who left homes within the Greenline between 1947 and 1949, MUST be measured against 960,000 Sephardi-Mizrachim who left theirs in the Arab and Islamic Worlds. 740,000 of these Jews came to Israel, the vast majority having been deprived of hearth and home by Arabs and Muslims. More often than not these Jews were violently Ethnically Cleansed. Where is THEIR story? Arabs climb their soapbox in the UN and discuss people- the vast bulk of whom VOLUNTARILY left their homes long before the first armed Jew entered the district. We have known since 1998 that Deir Yassin was a propaganda scam devised by Arabs (who had passive cooperation by Liberal Zionists trying to tar Irgun and Stern). In other words, while our brothers and sisters- fathers and mothers- were murdered, beaten, raped and had all their wealth stolen before fleeing to Israel, the Palestinians by and large made a conscious decision to leave. So confident were they that our People would be exterminated that they often left bread by their tables, personal effects strewn about. They gambeled. They lost. Tough shi*. Let their Arab brothers and sisters welcome them as Jews did to Sephardi-Mizrachim. Pierre Rehov is doing great work and deserves to be heard.
