## V.I.P surprise day for 11 year old Benjamin Marsh whos fighting Cancer ## ## Please read ## Benjamin Marsh, 11 and from Hull is currently receiving treatment after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in January of this year and as recently featured in the Hull Daily Mail, Benjamin thought hed got cancer for being naughty! hulldailymail.co.uk/thought-d-got-cancer-naughty-8211-Hull-boy/story-22966006-detail/story.html Reading this I couldnt help but make contact with the family to see if Nice 2 b Nice could do anything to either contribute with fundraising, create awareness or just by simply treating this very brave young man; it was refreshing to learn that no fundraising efforts where underway however I still wanted to treat Benjamin to something special.......... So after a couple of weeks of planning and with the help of many Benjamin today had probably one of the best days of his life....... It all started early this morning, Benjamin woke up thinking it was just a normal boring Sunday........little did he know that Nice 2 b Nice were on the way with a fun filled day!!!!! KNOCK KNOCK ......... We arrived at Benjamins house to announce the news that this was no ordinary Sunday, leading Benjamin outside to a stunning business class, chauffeur driven Mercedes Benz ready to take him, Mum and Dad on a fun filled adventure. First stop, the Humber Rescue lifeboat station at Hessle Foreshore, with the full crew aligned for Benjamins grand arrival he was greeted like a king and soon kitted up for a breezy jaunt whizzing along the river humber and bobbing underneath the Humber Bridge in the rescue speedboat even getting the chance to take the controls; hed make cracking speedboat driver, all courtesy of the amazing crew!! To top off the speedboat ride the RAF sea-king 128 rescue helicopter paid us a planned visit out over the Humber circling close enough to enjoy a wave from the pilot and crew and putting the biggest ever smile on Benjamins face!! Upon our return Benjamin was given a personal V.I.P guided tour of the boathouse and rescue station before given time to take in what just happened with refreshments and snacks. The end of Benjamins V.I.P day.......I think not!!!!!! Benjamins chauffeur was waiting........BEEP BEEP time for some family bowling Nice 2 b Nice style Jumping back into his chauffeur driven Mercedes Benz and waved off by everyone at Humber Rescue Benjamin was whisked off to Hollywood Bowl on Kingswood where staff and the mascot welcomed his arrival; leading Benjamin and family into the venue only to find his very own private lanes for some fun filled family bowling, food and treats.
