V1F has teamed up with the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation (NSIF) to raise awareness and money towards the cure for paralysis. This holiday season, we invite you to challenge your friends and family to a 1 on 1 basketball game and help us carry the cause. We are on the verge of a major breakthrough in spinal injury research and the NSIF is leading the way: nsif.org.uk Game Rules: 1) With black marker, write NSIF on sign/paper for viewing 2) Toss the ball in the air. Ball is live after the 3rd bounce. 3) Play to 5 points (All baskets worth 1) 4) Make it Take it (The scorer maintains possession) 5) If the ball hits the rim or backboard, defense must take the ball back to the 3pt line or designated distance. If offense gets his/her own rebound they may press forward without having to take it back. Air-balls or steals do not require a take back. 6) No hand-checking. Move your feet or get beat. 7) Use sportsman ship. Pledges: Winner - Pledges to Carry the Cause by challenging others until he/she is beaten. Loser - Pledges to donate $5 or more dollars to the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation: nsif.org.uk/donate Important tips: The person recording should keep the camera/cell phone as steady as possible. Stand in one spot during the game, at the top of the key. Make sure the cell phone is horizontal to shoot in widescreen.
