VACANCY- GENERAL MANAGER - LIBERIA JOB DESCRIPTION CLAS Consultants Liberia Ltd is an international organization with global clients. We are a small team but growing fast and needing organization. We need a manager with skills and experience to run the day to day operations of the company. We are looking for a motivated individual with a proven track record in management. To thrive in this role, youll need to love variety, work independently, communicate well and be well organized, even when working away from your office location. You must have a proven ability to work under pressure and priorities. The right candidate will play an integral part in the future expansion of our company. This is a unique opportunity and the role design can be flexible to fit the strengths and interests of the right candidate. If successful you may be required to do consultancy work on behalf of the company in your area of specification. This may involve research and other aspects including but not limited to serving as project leader or coordinator via management of end to end life cycle on a variety of projects. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for senior level performance in all areas related to CLAS’s provision of technical and business solutions to clients. Our customer base may consist of public and private sector agencies and businesses employing diverse information management environments. Key responsibilities involve: -Strong business and administrative knowledge -Organise and manage business meetings -Allocate use of available resource -Manage procurement of all office supplies of stationery, supplies, equipment and furniture -Invoice clients and manage accounts payable -Personal administrative duties for management, directors and consultants. -There will also be ad-hoc and project work such as youd expect in a growing, dynamic company. -Set up systems as required TECHNICAL -Provide senior level management capabilities as required. -Provide process, data and objectivity in a variety of application and database environments. -Provide database enhancement, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing systems. -Maintain senior level expertise in industry leading information management issues. -Supervise and mentor all intermediate and junior level staff assigned as members of your project team -Assist in employee review and assessment processes. PROJECTS -Serve as Project Lead or Project Manager via management of end to end system life cycle development of related projects. -Oversee minor tasks being led by intermediate level staff under your supervision. -Develop costing proposals for projects, perform risk analysis, and manage change control. -Provide business analysis, business area assessment, user needs analysis and business systems design for emerging opportunities. -Conduct comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and prepare business cases for projects. BUSINESS -Present a professional image in conduct, attitude and attire. -Assist with the development of client information management standards and evaluation of technology trends. -Contribute to business assessment, needs analysis, implementation and business systems design. -Assist with comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and preparation of business cases for new projects/clients. QUALIFICATIONS MANDATORY Minimum of a post graduate degree in a related field, and a minimum four years demonstrable experience at a senior level in the management and systems environment. Provide a confirmed working history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving aptitude. Present outstanding leadership capabilities, Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills and abilities. Prove a willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones, implementation deadlines and the like. Candidate must possess: -Ability to produce business correspondence with a high degree of accuracy illustrating proficiency in both verbal and written communications. -Experience managing the calendar of an office with international clients on different time zones. -The desire to make a huge difference in a small company.
