VCDL Meeting in Stafford! Member Sam Houchins II has arranged a library meeting room for Wednesday, January 7, 2015. We will be discussing Lobby Day and the upcoming legislative session. If you have never attended Lobby Day this is the time and place to start! We will explain the process (its really very easy) and discuss VCDLs position on the bills that have been submitted. This year we have Gov. McAuliffe has announced a long list of anti-personal defense bills aimed directly at law abiding citizens. The best way to defend against these assaults on your freedom is to show up for Lobby Day! If you have never attended, this is the time. Join us in Stafford on 1/7 to learn just how easy it is to participate in the legislative process. Here are the Lobby Day bus schedules once more for your convenience (approximate pickup/drop off times in parenthesis): Charlottesville (6:15 AM / 4 PM) Fairfax County (6 AM / 4 PM) Harrisonburg (6 AM / 4:15 PM) Lynchburg (5 AM/ 5:30 PM) Roanoke (4 AM / 5:10 PM) Virginia Beach (6 AM / 4 PM) The exact location of each pickup/drop off point will be announced in a future update. Each bus holds 55 passengers and we are taking reservations for seats now - first come, first serve. The cost is $25 per seat for VCDL members and their party and $30 per seat for non-members and their party. We will also gratefully accept additional contributions to help defray the rest of the cost for the buses (which is actually around $32 per seat).. For each member of your party, include: a. Their full name b. Their email address (if they have one) c.
