VELVET Needs a committed foster or adopter and pledges.. No false promises please! We are trying to get a rescue to pull her (facebook thread). Velvet and her Chihuahua sister were surrendered by their family on 9/18. The Chi was adopted and picked up on 9/24 as soon as their stray hold was up. On 9/23 I met Velvet and she seemed scared and nervous. I could tell she was used to living in a home and felt lost and betrayed . Once I took her outside, she loosened up and I even saw a little smile, a nervous smile, but a smile. You can see this on the first pictures. On 9/24 I saw her again and she was a trembling with fear and would not make eye contact. The Chihuahua had left with her adopter, and Velvet stayed behind alone . Ive seen pictures of Velvet on a couch at her familys home. Lets get her back on a couch, in a home, and off the shelter floor.. And this time in a loving Furever home.
