VERY VERY happy for this young lady! If you knew her story, youd see why. Man...the struggles shes overcome...from overcoming a big foot injury her junior year of high school, to the tears and anxiety of not having a scholarship offer halfway through her seinor year...to more tears being shed and confidence being lost because she wasnt having success on the field at Tennessee, and having to transfer because her coach told her point blank Youre not good enough to play here, to THINKING (I knew she didnt) she didnt love the game anymore. People dont know how close she was to quitting soccer all together this summer, and not taking this scholarship offer to High Point University...like, it really came down to the LAST day the offer was available for her to make a choice. She can be a head case at times, but shes MY head case, and moments like this make it all worth it!
