VFX Coordinator Rodeo FX - Montreal, Canada Area (Montreal y alrededores, Canadá) Descripción del empleo Rodeo FX is looking for VFX Coordinator with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the film industry. This person must have very strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities and requirements: Maintain show shot list. Determine, with the Producer, what documents are needed for a specific show. Maintain shot statuses and artist targets and be able to produce show status at all time. Take, receive and disseminate internal and client shot notes. Manage flow of information and transfer of information/work between departments. Make sure that artists have necessary information and elements to begin work efficiently. Set and track targets for the week with VFX supervisor and producer. Make sure artists are clear on their targets. Keep a pulse on artist workload - flag Producer and Supervisor if artists have too much or too little work. Anticipate and raise any concerns about targets, deadlines, etc. based on daily artist activity Arrange, attend, and manage meetings, turnovers, reviews with VFX Supervisor and artists, make sure that meetings are efficient and on schedule. Organize dailies, and take notes. Keep artists and supervisors up to date with information – client notes, shot changes, modifications - and evaluate impact on current work. Relay information to producer if anticipated budget or schedule implications. Evaluate and validate materials with VFX supervisors to make sure they are approved. Ensure information is distributed to relevant crew. Experiencia y aptitudes deseadas The ideal candidate: Post-secondary education in film production or related field. 3 to 5 years of experience working in a VFX studio Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills Must be a team player, but able to work independently as well. Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and to manage conflicting interests and a strong attention for detail. Self-motivated, proactive, being able to work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Availability to work flexible hours on occasion to meet deadlines.
