[VICTOR THE DREAMER] [Chapter 4] I had no other option than to tell him in order to set my conscience at rest. David! wake up i uttered while tapping his back. He sluggishly got up and said what is it Me: I need to tell you something David: (after yawning) something?? Me: Yea David: Go on, am all ears. Me: (sighed & shrugged) i had a dream about you, infact, a terrible one Daniel: (with shock) what? dream? me? terrible? Please tell me, am very scared, please. Though i made up my mind to tell him that moment but when i checked the time, it was 7:37pm. gosh!! The time has really gone this far, i think i have to leave now please, my parents may have arrived so i ll check on you later. i said to him while he stared at me with scary eyes.. I knew he wasnt pleased with my leaving but i have to, or have you forgotten the kind of father i had? lol. I met my parents at home as guessed. Greeted them while my father suddenly questioned me like a police suspect. Dad: where on earth have you been??? Me: Oh, i just went to play with David in his house Dad: for how many hours hun?? Ive been in this house its over an hour now and youre telling me shits. Me: (i admitted guilt) im sorry dad Dad: Sorry for yourself ok? mtcheeew He hissed at me and walked angrily into his room, like i care. The next day came up. I woke up early from the bed, did the necessary chores and took my bath. I dressed up and set out for the exam venue. Along the way, a man called me, seeking an audience with me. I answered the man and the following conversation ensued. Man: Im sorry for taking part of your time, you are a waec candidate right? Me: yea i am Man: Thats cool, youre having only mathematics today, am i right? Me: (getting furious by his questions) Yea please go straight to your point, im in a hurry. Man: ok then, i just want to inform u that i have the maths expo and answers with me including both objectives and theory aspect Me: (surprised) you mean? you have the maths answers with you right now? Man: yea i do. Do you wish to b... Me:(i interrupted him) yes sir, i seriously need it sir, please how much is it? Man: hmmm, its just #700 naira only. Me: (without arguing the price with the man, checked my back pockets, took out my wallet and brought out #1000) this is it sir.. (i handed over the money to the man and he gave to a change of #300 with the maths expo sheet) I quickly opened the sheet, it comprises of both obj and theory answers, they seems real. I left the spot excitedly and headed to the exam center. The exam commence few minutes after i got there. I vigilantly took out the expo sheet and placed it under my answer booklet. Each time the examiner check on the other side, i will quickly copied the answers from the expo sheet. After several minutes, i finish up with the subject and handed over my answer booklet to the examiner. I walked out of the hall happily and shouted Thank you Jesus Christ No one could measure how happy i was at that moment. I then decided to throw the expo paper away since its useful no more. I checked my pockets but couldnt find it. I rechecked thoroughly again but all to no avail. I couldnt get myself anymore, i began to think of where i put the expo sheet. Then i remembered while i was working, i placed the expo sheet under my answer booklet, then when i finished the stuffs, i gathered the papers on my desk in the answer booklet and submitted it. Oh my goodness! Ive submitted the expo sheet with my answer booklet. i cried out louder as tears floated from my eyes.. [Watch Out For Chapter 5.....]
