[VIDEO] 2014 YEAR-IN-REVIEW: BEST MV EDITION 2014 is OVER, and the year has provided MANY ups and downs. We originally contemplated doing a whole post containing a complete year-in-review, but it would take too long. So we opted to do bite-sized editions of a year in review covering K-Pop’s year. For the next few weeks, we’ll cover the best and worst MVs, songs, stories, comebacks, debuts, albums, and anything else we can think of. As we go along, please share your thoughts with us! First up: Best MVs! [B.A.P “Excuse Me”] Okay, so this one is technically a J-Pop song because it’s Japanese, but it was well-received in Japan, Korea, and abroad. On the surface, it looks like our incredibly gorgeous B.A.P members are just vandalizing a museum; but with a deeper, more critical eye, they’re tearing down “the man” and working toward creating a new image for themselves by incorporating past themes and items from prior MVs. Considering B.A.P’s current situation with their TS Entertainment lawsuit and the fact that most B.A.P videos have a message, it seems the destroying of the past may be them sending a subtle “F-U” message to TS. B.A.P members are smart and like to send subtle hints about what goes on with them, especially this year if you check out their Twitters and Instagram accounts, so we are convinced this MV was a message to TS. https://youtube/watch?v=Fk0kuSJXMy0 cr: .whatthehallyu -irresisDAEble
