VROOMS at Island BMW on October 17: this was an elegant cocktail and appies event in support of the MOunt St. Mary Hospital Foundation Room To Care Campaign to renovate resident rooms organized by some amazing Foundation volunteers and myself. Coralie McLean from CTV (holding the mike) was the MC. Standing beside her is Lisa Nye, the Foundation Board Chair. Solomon Siegel created a signature cocktail called THE VROOMER that separated into the colours we used on the invitation, Chef Michael Williams whipped up hundreds of little plates paired with wines by Abigail Adam. The John MacArthur Duo provided the jazzy background sound. We lost track of the numbers, but for sure there were over 200 people there.
