Vacancies SERVICE MANAGER: OFFICE OF THE CIO ref-04453 Head Office Office of the Chief Information Officer R 630 822 per annum (all- inclusive package which include basic salary of 70% of the package) and a flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable SMS guidelines per annum (plus benefits). An ICT related Tertiary qualification with 4-5 years’ experience in ICT Services Management. Knowledge and understanding of ICT Services Management relating to policies procedures and processes regulating ICT equipment. A valid driver’s licence. Skills and Competencies: Problem identification, Analytical, Innovative,Communication, Interpersonal, Good Report writing, Negotiation, People Management and Monitoring skills Assess ICT equipment. Manage the software licensing needs analysis. Manage the compilation of submission for acquiring licenses. Consult and negotiate with relevant service providers on the provision of software licenses. Manage the implementation of new and renewed Departmental ICT licenses based on prescribed terms and conditions. Evaluate Hardware and Software Requirements. Determine the ICT equipment upgrading needs. Liaise with ICT Service Providers. Management of ICT Budget. Analyse weekly and monthly ICT expenditure reports. Submit budget reports for analysis. Provide input in budget process of ICT equipment. Management of the Sub Directorate. Manage staff performance, development, leave plans as well disciplinary and grievance matters. Manage the compilation and provision of regular and ad-hoc reports as required. NOTE:ERRORS & OMISSIONS EXPECTED: The department reserves the right to fill or not to fill these position(s).
