Vacancy Announcement National Youth Federation Nepal (NYFN) is an umbrella organization, led by youth, operating in 72 districts of Nepal. It is a non-political, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established under the guidelines of National Youth Policy 2010 and having a competitive team members in its governance. Position: Program Manager (PM) Duty Station: Kathmandu The Role: The Program Manager (PM) will have overall responsibility for NYFN program development and administrative operational and other day to day activities. The PM, will play a key role in the implementation of all programs the efficiency, effectiveness and impact of our interventions with the budget available; will be expected to strengthen and support all areas of NYFN) operations quality programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, team management. S/he is also partially responsible for the Admin and Finance of daily operation. It is expected to coordinate team members including volunteers, interns and strengthen all areas of NYFN operations. The PM will work closely with NYFN Management Team expecting an efficient result Required qualifications and experience: • Candidate must have bachelors degree (Master degree will be prioritize) in a relevant academic discipline. • Minimum of 2 years practical experience program managing and developing of the Youth, +post MDG, WPAY and youth related issues. • Experience of managing the program cycle, including assessments, project design, proposal and report writing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. • Excellent planning coordination and reporting skills, with the ability to organize a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities. • Sound financial management skills, particularly in budgeting and reporting; • Computer literacy, particularly in word, excel and PowerPoint • Strong communication, people management and interpersonal skills in English, with experience in leading multi-cultural, multi-location, values driven teams. • Committed to NYFN global policies and values.
