Vacancy Position: Community Facilitator Areas of operations: Karas Region, Hardap Region, Khomas Region, Otjozondjupa Region, Erongo Region, Oshikoto Region, Oshana Region ,Kunene Region Positions for Community Facilitators are open at Out-Right Namibia to be filled by you!!!!!! Applicants should be: • A well-known and active person within their communities • Be self-motivated • Should be knowledgeable with LGBTI, MSM and WSW issues • Should be knowledgeable with HIV/AIDS related issues • Should be able to work with money • Responsible • Trustworthy • Self-identified LGBTI person • Computer literate • Speak / Write English • Open to speak out on LGBTI issues Responsibilities: • Community activation and recruitment to the MSM (and other LGBTI) talk shops and PEPP Sessions • Collection and distribution of condoms and lubricants at local health centers • Distribution of lubricants to MSM and other LGBTI • Collection and distribution of HIV, STI and other IEC materials from local NGOs and health agencies • Implement and conduct talk shops and PEPP Sessions • Compile and forward a report for each talk shop and PEPP Session to the head office in a timely manner • Be available to the head office staff as well as the donor for routine monitoring and evaluation visits • Be willing to undergo mentoring by head office staff • Recruit members for ORN • Engage community leader and local gatekeepers on the needs of LGBTI people in the community • Build partnerships with local NGOs and other human rights & health providers. • Uphold the code of conduct of ORN at all times when acting on behalf of the organization. Preference will be given to Self-Identified LGBTI, MSM and WSW people in the above mentioned regions.
