Vehicle Crews of the M2A3 Bradley Infantry Fighting vehicle attended the latest in a series of hands on informational training of their vehicles. NET New Equipment Training is designed to instruct the operator of proper maintenance, usage, and emergency procedures of the vehicle. The NET provides for the initial training and transfer of knowledge from the MATDEV or contractor to the tester and user. It represents the knowledge that is needed for operation, maintenance, and logistic support during testing and initial introduction of new materiel into the Army inventory. The issuing of new M2 and M3 Bradleys to the units of the 34th Infantry Division, add a tactical and technical advantage while increasing crew survivability during various operations.
