Very happy after a great gig at The Good Intent run by Nigel Adams. Normal service was resumed. I had a couple of applause breaks and most of the new TV material went down a treat! I also enjoyed seeing Jo Coffey for the first time. Brilliant material and perfect timing meant that she got the audience of board straight away. Kev Smith kicked off the night in a weird way. working with a clown who gave birth on stage and then proceeded to cut off the head of the baby clown! (dont ask but Nigel was involved of course). this was followed by a quite normal Jo Ogden who made us laugh with her pitch for marriagehood. After the break it was me followed by the lovely Louise Bee - so full of energy and clever stuff. The night finished off with Dave Bailey trying new material about squirrels and how one introduces oneself in difficult social situations. A great time was had by all!
