Ok folks Ive been making calls, talking to folks and getting FACTS from sources. Please read all the way through as I am going to try to answer some of the most frequent questions Ive gotten as of today. 1. WHAT ABOUT THE ANIMALS IN GEORGETOWN? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- via Washington Fire Department (updated an hour ago) The Tazewell County Animal Control picked up 60 animals at the Georgetown Common area in Washington. Animals were either in the building or in the surrounding area. Almost all of the collected animals have been returned to their owners or are accounted for. If you are still missing an animal, call the Tazewell County Animal Control at 309-477-3370. Animal Control staff will continue to monitor the Georgetown site and area for wandering animals.
