There are reasons why people avoid considering alternate assumptions, and they are never good ones. @ 16:15 - Mutual learning. Now, what youre hearing today in a conference, youll remember 5%. OK? On the average. If you read an article or a book that I wrote, you remember 10%. If we have a little session this afternoon about the content of all of this, youll remember 50%. But the most powerful tool will be when you teach him, then you remember 90%. So our entire education system has been set up upside-down, from kindergarten to university. So how can we reverse that? LMAO! The ENTIRE EDUCATION SYSTEM. Like Ive been saying. BEFORE we set about reversing it, I think we ought to consider why were faced with an upside-down, backwards educational paradigm at all. What went into making it upside-down in the first place? What motivated it? Who was involved? What were they after? Without answers to those questions, we havent dealt with causes.
