Very interesting. Index of how good a country is to the world. Ireland tops the list. Why Ireland? Turns out the index tallies the good that the country does for the world compared to the size of its population and economy. Ireland has an advantage because it does a lot of good compared to its relatively small economy. USA doesnt look that bad either. Its 21 from the top. Not bad seeing how we are a very large economy. Remember its the good divided by the size; like the good per capita. China and India look pretty bad in this index. They are large economies, but most of their effort has gone into developing their own economies, rather than trying to have a good impact on the world. The top countries, on this index, tend to be small European nations with developed economies who can afford to think outside of just helping themselves. Who knows, China and India might get better as they worry less about pulling themselves out of poverty, but they have a lot of their own people to feed, so to speak.
