Very rare on set interview with James during a break on REBEL. I first heard this on the 2000 rockabilly compilation CD JAMES DEAN ERA, as an extra track. His comments about the contrasting juxtaposition of stage acting versus on film, plus the radical difference between what is presented as the character, dialogue and story, in the script, as opposed to the process of filming, beginning to end, is incredible given his young age. It was all about improvisation, experiment and striving toward making it all real.
