Very surprising that Lawrence ODonnell actually believes that the right wing result-oriented, intellectually dishonest Supreme Court majority issued a preliminary injunction in the Wheaton College case because they didnt understand the ramifications of their ruling. Nonsense. They knew exactly what they were doing. Ever since Ronald Reagan appointed Scalia and tried to appoint Bork, the Republican right has been bound and determined to make this country a (fundamentalist) Christian nation. Just watch. Just like corporations always win in this court, so do religious organizations. Or, I should say, fundamentalist Christian organizations. This courts idea of religious liberty means the liberty of right wing Christian groups to foist their views on everyone else. Dont kid yourselves, Ladies. Roe v Wade is hanging by an ever more fragile thread. And the name of that flimsy thread is Anthony Kennedy, who is most often a sure vote for the conservative point of view.
