Veterans Day is a serious heart wrencher. 3 years ago my daughter asked my step dad Charlie Gray to visit her school to share his experience as a paralyzed Veteran. He was feeling under the weather and promised her he would visit her school next year. He passed away a couple of days later on November 16 because he refused to be intubated. So, after several tours of duty in Vietnam, 30 years as a quadriplegic, AND more than 20 years as a peer counselor who shared his life experience with newly injured Veterans, I salute you Charlie Gray!!!
