Via Tammy ALger Study that shows how GMO feed effects livestock. Since virtually all corn and soy products in the USA are GMO, that means humans are eating the very same types of things that led to the health issues in this study. GMO stands for genetically modified. This is not the same as selectively breeding plants which has been done for generations. GMO means that the genetic makeup of the plant has been tampered with. DNA was removed from the plant and DNA from something else was put in the plant in its place. BT corn and other plants have a built in pesticide. When caterpillars eat the corn or other BT plants (includes corn, potatoes, tomatoes, zucchini and other squashes among others), their stomachs explode and they die. Other GMO plants have had their genetic makeup tampered with to make it possible to spray an herbicide on the plant without killing the plant, just everything around it.
